The Store That Opens at Midnight

Somewhere in Rattlecross, a storefront appears at midnight.

Inside are things residents have lost: some ordinary, some gone for decades, some that belonged to people who are no longer alive. Every object carries a receipt. Instead of a price, each one describes a promise someone failed to keep.

The store is connected to the town’s unfinished business. And it doesn’t stay open forever.
