SAR Command
Offline-first mission management for search-and-rescue command posts.

The case workspace and quick intake form (fictional demo data).
Overview
When someone goes missing, the first hours matter, and the command post is often a laptop at a trailhead with a weak signal. Case notes end up spread across paper forms, text threads and spreadsheets.
SAR Command brings that work into one place. It is built around the actual flow of a missing-person search: create the case, gather information about the subject, mark the last known position, brief teams, capture new information as it arrives, and keep a complete record for the after-action review.
The application is designed to stay useful when connectivity drops. Work continues locally and synchronizes when the connection comes back.
SAR Command and SAR Vision are separate projects with a shared purpose: practical tools that support the people doing search-and-rescue work.
What it does today
Features
Case management
One record for each search, with subject details, physical description, medical information, attachments and a categorized activity log.
Subject profiles and questionnaire
Lost-person behavior profiles with tactical briefs, initial tasks and interview questions, plus a structured Missing Person Questionnaire.
Maps and search planning
Interactive maps with last-known-position markers and probability rings around the LKP, with coordinates in latitude/longitude and UTM.
Location requests by text message
Send a link by SMS. The person opens it in any phone browser and shares their GPS location. No app to install.
Offline-first by design
Everything is written to the device first and synced to the server when a connection returns, with conflict detection to keep records consistent.
Responder sharing and ICS forms
Share a case with responders through a QR code protected by a PIN, and keep a library of standard Incident Command System forms at hand.
Optional AI assistant
An assistant that can review the case and suggest search considerations. Its output is advisory; decisions stay with the incident team.
